After rooting your Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082, you want to revert the changes made? Then you are at the right place.
Rooting is a cool thing that Android users can do with their devices. They can root and become the master of their device. In one of our previous tutorials we wrote a simple method to Root Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082 with CWM Recovery. The thing is that many people come to know that rooting wasn’t meant for them after they have rooted their phone. They don’t use any app that needs root level access, still they are prone to the dangers associated with rooting an Android Phone. Their can be so many reasons for unrooting a rooted phone, but the question is that how to do that. Well, in most cases, unrooting is as simple as rooting such as in this case.
So, by following this tutorial you’ll be able to switch back to the stock ROM and unroot.
After unrooting your Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082 you’ll get the warranty of your phone back. So, without wasting any more time lets get started with the main thing.
Unrooting the Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082
Please follow each and every step carefully. Android’s Creed recommends you to read all the steps before executing them. Just in case you end up bricking your smartphone or making any other fault in your Galaxy Grand Duos GT-i9082 then we won’t be held liable for that.
Before you Unroot
Before starting the unrooting process you need to read these Prerequisite:
1. The mobile phone should have at least 70 – 80% of battery power.
2. You have to make USB debugging enabled for this tutorial to work. To do so, go to “Settings > Manage > Applications > Development > USB Debugging” – check the box.
3. It is obvious that you’ll loose your data such as Phone contacts and SMSes if you do not save them externally. So, back up your data.
4. Your phone has to be rooted and have CWM installed. (Obviously, how can you unroot without rooting?)
5. Download the USB drivers for your PC from here.
